Welcome to Archcademy (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you, the user of our services (“you” or “User”), and the Company. By accessing, registering, or using any part of our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

Our Platform is designed to allow individuals, including students, professionals, and teachers, to connect with one another, showcase skills, maintain portfolios, and share ideas and knowledge through posts, discussions, and multimedia content. It also provides features for interaction such as following tags, engaging with others’ posts, maintaining connections, and communicating via chat and video calls. In addition, administrative functions ensure moderation of content and management of user behavior for the safety of the community. These Terms govern the manner in which all such activities may take place.

1. Eligibility and Registration

To use the Platform, you must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. If you are under eighteen (18), you may only register and participate with the consent of a parent or guardian. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

During the registration process, Users are required to provide certain basic details such as their full name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, and a password. Once these details are submitted, a verification step involving a one-time password (OTP) is mandatory. You may not bypass this step, as it ensures the authenticity of users within our community. Once verified, you will have the ability to select interests and preferences in the form of keywords or tags, which shape the content that appears in your feed.

Additional details such as skills, experiences, and portfolios may also be added at your discretion. These elements are designed to allow you to showcase your expertise or background, but their submission is not mandatory. At present, the Platform does not allow for entity or corporate registrations, though this functionality may be introduced in the future.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. If you become aware of unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security, you must notify us immediately. The Company cannot be held liable for losses resulting from failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account.

2. Permitted Use of the Platform

The Platform is intended to provide a safe and professional environment where individuals may connect and share knowledge and creative content. By using our services, you agree that your activities will remain within the boundaries of lawful and acceptable use.

You may use the Platform to create posts consisting of captions and multimedia, including images, videos, and document attachments. Posts may also be shared externally through integrated features allowing sharing via WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, or direct links. You may interact with other Users’ content by liking, commenting, or reporting posts, and you may manage your connections through requests, acceptance, or removal. Communication tools such as private chat and video calls are available exclusively between Users who are connected.

You may not use the Platform to engage in harmful, offensive, or unlawful activities. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the posting or distribution of obscene or defamatory material, the impersonation of another individual, the dissemination of spam or malware, or the misuse of the Platform for unauthorized advertising or solicitation. You may also not attempt to disrupt the integrity of the system through scraping, automated bots, or reverse engineering.

The Company reserves the right to monitor and moderate activity to ensure compliance. If you engage in conduct contrary to these Terms, your access to the Platform may be restricted or terminated.

3. User-Generated Content and Intellectual Property

When you create or upload content to the Platform, including posts, comments, images, videos, skills, experiences, and portfolios, you remain the sole owner of such content. However, by submitting content, you grant the Company a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the Platform for the purpose of providing the services. This license exists only to the extent necessary to operate and improve the Platform and does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property.

You acknowledge that other Users may view, share, or interact with your content within the scope of the Platform’s features. Where posts are shared externally, you agree that such sharing occurs at your discretion and risk. The Company does not endorse or assume responsibility for how your content is treated once shared beyond our Platform.

The Company may remove or restrict content that violates applicable laws, infringes intellectual property rights, or contravenes these Terms. If you believe that your rights have been infringed by content on the Platform, you may contact us with sufficient details for investigation, and we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

4. Connections and Communication

The Platform is built to foster professional and personal connections. Users may request to connect with others, and recipients of such requests may either accept or reject them. Once connected, Users may exchange messages, share images, and participate in video calls using third-party integration such as Aghora.

It is important to note that while the Platform provides these tools, it does not actively monitor the content of private communications. However, in the event of abuse, harassment, or illegal activity being reported, the Company may review and take appropriate steps, including suspending or banning offending accounts.

Users have the right to block others, preventing further communication or connection requests. Blocking is a protective measure and may be exercised without prior notice to the blocked User.

The Company emphasizes that it is not responsible for the behavior or actions of its Users. You should exercise caution when engaging with others, especially when sharing personal or sensitive information.

5. Account Suspension and Termination

You may close your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion, your profile information and most of your activity will be removed; however, certain content such as posts or comments may remain visible where retention is necessary for community integrity or legal compliance.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts in cases of policy violation, repeated reporting of abusive or unlawful content, fraudulent behavior, or technical abuse of the Platform. In severe cases, termination may occur without prior notice.

If your account is terminated by the Company, you forfeit all access to the Platform, and we shall not be liable for any consequences or losses arising from such action.

6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

The Company strives to maintain the availability and functionality of the Platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, nor can we ensure that the Platform will always be free from errors, security breaches, or delays.

The Platform serves as a medium for user-generated content. The Company does not verify or endorse the accuracy of user-submitted skills, experiences, or portfolios. Users are solely responsible for any representations they make. Similarly, opinions expressed in posts and comments are those of individual Users and do not reflect the views of the Company.

The Platform integrates with third-party services such as cloud storage providers, video call APIs, and messaging gateways. While these integrations enhance functionality, the Company is not responsible for outages, errors, or issues arising from such external services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

The Company values your privacy and processes your personal data in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your information, including personal details provided during registration, posts and communications created on the Platform, and technical data associated with your activity.

Your data is stored securely using cloud storage solutions, and appropriate measures are taken to protect against unauthorized access. While the Company does not sell or rent personal data to third parties, it may share information with trusted service providers strictly for operational purposes, such as messaging, cloud storage, and security.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Requests may be made through support tickets available within your account settings.

8. Support and Dispute Resolution

If you encounter technical difficulties or require assistance, you may raise a support ticket through your profile dashboard. Support tickets will be handled according to urgency, and while we strive to resolve issues promptly, we do not guarantee fixed resolution timelines.

In the event of disputes between Users or between a User and the Company, the parties shall first attempt to resolve matters amicably through direct negotiation. If such efforts fail, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country/State]. The venue and language of arbitration shall be determined by the Company’s registered jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed.

9. Modification of Terms

The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Modified” date. Users will be deemed to have accepted the revised Terms by continuing to use the Platform after such updates. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.
